SERVICESBuddhist services and rituals are held at temples, including chanting, dharma talks and testimonies to help to link the attendees' minds to the Buddha and his teachings.
Each service and ritual has its own focus, such as expressing gratitude for the Buddha's guidance (8th, 15th and 20th
of the month), consoling souls regardless of whether they were friends or foes (4th and 24th of the month), overcoming
greed, anger, and other obstacles to spiritual (28th of the month), or celebrations and memorials services for the
founders' memorial (19th of the month).
One common thread tying all the services is their function to encourage the followers to take a positive step on the Buddhist path to joy. |
